PicoScope – how to get started using the MATLAB instrument drivers

立即观看视频PicoScope – how to get started using the MATLAB instrument drivers

Pico Technology provides MATLAB instrument drivers to allow users to control PicoScope hardware directly from MathWorks Inc.’s MATLAB® using Instrument Control Toolbox.

This video shows how to get started using the MATLAB instrument drivers that we provide through our Software Development Kit (SDK). The steps shown in the first part of the video will also apply to Users who wish to access the Application Protocol Interface (API) functions directly from MATLAB rather than using the Instrument Driver.

As of PicoSDK 10.6.10 and later, there is no need to copy the drivers to the Instrument Driver folder as the drivers will be installed to the following directory:

32-bit operating system or 64-bit PicoSDK on 64-bit operating systems:
C:Program FilesPico TechnologySDKlib

32-bit PicoSDK on 64-bit operating system:
C:Program Files (x86)Pico TechnologySDKlib

Add the appropriate location to the MATLAB path or use the relevant configuration script to add the location to the MATLAB path.

For 64-bit versions of MATLAB, the thunk compatibility files can be found in the folder corresponding to the architecture located in the Instrument Driver package root directory e.g. ps5000a_thunk_pcwin64.dll and ps5000aWrap_thunk_pcwin64.dll can be found in the C:PicoSDKMATLABps5000awin64 folder. The folder location should be added to the MATLAB path.

The SDK can be downloaded from
