Hello everyone! As I mentioned before, I’ve been interested in entrepreneurship since college and have been very fascinated by the startup stories of many companies. At the same time, as a professional in the animation and visual effects industry, I have witnessed the ups and downs of this industry over the years. Where is the future of the industry headed? This is not only a personal question but also a common mystery for countless colleagues. I think a good way to explore answers is to trace back to the origins and see how some outstanding companies in the industry were born. What were their original intentions? What significant changes and challenges has the industry experienced over the past few decades? With such curiosity, I’m preparing to launch a new series: “The Ups and Downs of CG Business.”
Today’s video, as the opener for the entire series, features a name familiar to everyone—Pixar. It was the first all-CG animation studio in the USA and a legend in the industry. Tightly connected to the story of Pixar is another legendary figure—Steve Jobs.
