2018 Cadillac XT5 Configurations – Build & Price Review: The XT5 is a five-passenger luxury midsize crossover SUV from Cadillac. The 2018 Cadillac XT5 vs the 2017 XT5 is unchanged. This will however, be a full review of the 2018 Cadillac XT5 and I will look at all trim levels, features, options, safety, technology, colors, interior, exterior, accessories even.

2018 Cadillac XT5 Trim Levels and Interior

There are four trim-levels of XT5 for the 2018 model year; Standard (base), Luxury, Premium Luxury and Platinum. Although you don’t get leather seats on the standard model, Cadillac does give you a lot for your money. Select the Luxury trim-level however and you’ll get leather seats, ultraview sunroof and a whole lot more.

Interior Colors

The colors below will vary depending on which trim level you go with. If you watch the video, you can see me go through this section on each trim level.

– Sahara Beige, Leatherette Seating Surfaces
– Jet Black Leather Seating Surfaces with Mini-Perforated inserts
– Cirrus Leather Seating Surfaces with Mini-Perforated inserts
– Carbon Plum, Full Leather Seats with Mini-Perforated inserts
– Jet Black, Semi-Aniline Full Leather Seats with Chevron perforated inserts (platinum online)
– Maple Sugar, Semi-Aniline Full Leather Seats with Chevron perforated inserts (platinum online)

2018 XT5 Exterior and Colors

I think the new 2018 XT5 is attractive, always have. I’d drive it. I think the XT5 has some feminine lines, but there’s enough masculinity there still. The 2018 XT5 comes in 9 distinct exterior colors; Radiant Silver Metallic, Red Passion Tintcoat, Crystal White Tricoat, Harbor Blue Metallic, Stellar Black Metallic, Deep Amethyst Metallic, Dark Granite Metallic, Bronze Dune Metallic and Midnight Sky Metallic.

2018 Cadillac XT5 Features

Lots of safety technology goes into even the base model Cadillac XT5 for 2018. For instance, the standard XT5 comes with an air bag system, Cadillac Connect Access (which gives you vehicle diagnostics, etc.), daytime running lamps, electronic e-brake, traction control, rear park assist, rear vision camera, tire pressure monitoring system and a lot more actually.
