I set out to restore an IGEL thin client, a compact PC originally running Windows XP Embedded, which failed to boot.
Unable to obtain an original boot image, I had no other choice than rebuilding Windows XP Embedded from scratch.
This led me down a deep rabbit hole of capturing hardware profiles, injecting drivers, and troubleshooting missing boot components in order to get past the dreaded INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE blue screen!
